**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Application Programmer** to join our team in **California, MD.** This is an **on-site** position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications in accordance with project requirements

+ Analyze technology/capability gaps, then research, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions to improve the final solution and expedite solution deployment

+ Work closely with other developers to design and optimize the solution for performance, adaptability, and maintainability

+ Conduct thorough unit, integration, and cybersecurity testing and remediate identified bugs throughout development cycles

+ Assist in the creation of clear and concise technical documentation, user guides and training material for the developed solution.

+ Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) to provide actionable insights from complex datasets

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

+ 5+ years of experience in software development

+ Applied experience programming in Linux and Windows environments

+ Knowledgeable in C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiar with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools

+ Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

+ Experience working with binary data

Clearance Requirements:

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
