We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in Desktop Support to join our team. The role involves providing technical assistance in a hybrid work model with a focus on remote support. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless IT operations and contribute to enhancing user experience. This position does not require travel and operates during day shifts.
In this role, you will:
+ Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring timely resolution of issues to maintain productivity.
+ Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
+ Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues enhancing user satisfaction.
+ Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access.
+ Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures to support knowledge sharing.
+ Assist in the deployment of software updates and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
+ Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements ensuring minimal downtime.
+ Provide training and support to end-users to improve their technical proficiency and productivity.
+ Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share insights for continuous improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards to maintain a secure IT environment.
+ Contribute to the development of IT strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
+ Support the IT team in various projects providing technical expertise and insights.
Work model:

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $59,500 to $68,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
