Location/Division Specific Information

+ This position is part of our dynamic Statistical Science team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

+ The role is on-site, offering a12-week internship with 40 hours per week.

+ Join us in our mission to drive groundbreaking discoveries in clinical trials. As a Statistical Science Intern, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing clinical trial data and developing novel analytical tools.

A day in the Life:

+ Perform statistical programming and analyses using R and SAS.

+ Develop and maintain R Shiny applications for data visualization.

+ Collaborate with AI/ML experts to integrate biostatistical workflows.

Keys to Success:

+ To excel in this role, you should be highly motivated, meticulous, and possess outstanding analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are crucial, as is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

+ Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

+ Experience

+ Strong proficiency in R and SAS.

+ Experience developing R applications using Shiny.

+ Familiarity with clinical trial data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

+ Solid understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory guidelines.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills.

+ Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques is a plus.
