    + Excellent skills in influencing, teaming, and delivering solutions in a complex, fluid environment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

    As a Technical Program Manager in the Better Together team, you will have the exciting opportunity to drive strategic projects across the Android partner ecosystem. You will work with chipset vendors, carriers, device makers, and other industry leaders to launch new features and enable new technologies. You will lay out and execute on a technology road map to ensure that Google is staying ahead of the industry in innovation and cutting-edge technologies. You will provide technical leadership in multiple major projects and manage a team of engineers.

     

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $61,500-$86,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    + Be an expert in Bluetooth and shape its future, and launch a unified stack that seamlessly operates across all user devices, phones, wearables, tablets, Auto, ChromeOS.

    + Lead quality focused software development life-cycle, from ideation to post-release, ensuring testing checkpoints at every stage to deliver a performance, power-optimized fundamental BT platform for Better Together.

    + Work as an integral part of the engineering team through every stage of the product life-cycle and being the key POC with product, data analysts, privacy, security, legal and external partners

    + Advocate use of metrics, drive consistent adoption of data-driven approaches for aligning user experience, quality, and testing.

    + Develop robust, defensible release plans, proactively managing any changes and regularly communicate progress, escalate issues, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, internal and external.
