Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Staff Quality Analyst to support our Baltimore, MD site
What You'll Get to Do:
+ Knowledge of Nonconforming Material (NCM) control system and governing procedures and documentation.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes as defined in process specifications.
+ Knowledge of and ability to concur on engineering dispositions of nonconforming material. Concurs with technical justification for use-as-is dispositions.
+ Help facilitate process assessments
+ Process and adhere to AS9100 requirements
+ Provides written direction for inspection/acceptance or test of product after completion of disposition instructions.
+ Routes dispositions to Customer for concurrence, as required.
+ Manages the control of nonconforming material (bonding/releasing). Maintains physical inventory of nonconforming product in a bonded setting. Responsible for accurate nonconformance documentation review and approval meeting customer and sector requirements. Ensures retention and retrieval of MRB records.
+ Ensures coordination of material review actions among performers.
+ Provides guidance to Inspection, Preliminary Review and Liaison Engineering. Mentors personnel in the process and recommends MRB membership when applicable.
+ Process and adhere to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARs) related to the export of nonconformance documentation. Attain and maintain current ITAR certification.
+ Collects and reviews product defect data contained on nonconformance forms, summarizes defect data, and publishes trend charts and/or management reports indicating defect rate trends and corrective action status and effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree with a Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or operations ; Associates Degree with a minimum of 14 years in quality, manufacturing or operations or a High School Diploma and with a minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in quality, manufacturing or operations.
+ Experience of manufacturing process
+ The ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance and Special Program Access
+ US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in using quality software like SAP or other ERP/QMS systems
+ Experience with compliance with industry regulations
+ Experience Nonconforming Material (NCM) control system and governing procedures and documentation
+ Material Review Board experience
+ Experience conducting failure analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions(CAPA) to reduce defects
+ Experience leading kaizen events, implementing lean six sigma methodologies
+ Active DoD clearance
Primary Level Salary Range: $134,900.00 - $202,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
