Northrop Grumman is seeking an **Associate Engineer Survivability/ Engineer Survivability.** This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Survivability directorate.
The selected candidate will perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Other duties include:
+ Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
+ Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Survivability (T01) or Engineer Survivability (T02)
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer Survivability (T01)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
+ Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026.
+ Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
+ Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
+ Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2026 and 2 years of engineering experience
+ Be majoring in or having majored in list degree majors that are acceptable for position or similar STEM degree.
+ Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
+ Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
+ Prior experience with computational electromagnetic (CEM) analysis.
+ Prior experience with integration and testing of systems.
Pay Range
+ Associate Engineer Survivability: $74,000.00 - $111,000.00
+ Engineer Survivability: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
