CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer position for our client in New York, NY.

**Duration:** 6 months

Duties:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance and data management processes. This role involves creating metadata management repositories, defining and implementing business and data quality rules, and developing data quality reports and dashboards. The Data Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, automate data quality monitoring and reporting, and integrate data governance solutions across enterprise data platforms. Additional responsibilities include workflow design, system customization, and implementing Collibra Data Quality (DQ) to support governance initiatives.

Skills:

+ 12+ years in Data Engineering and/or Data Governance

+ 5+ years hands-on with Collibra Data Quality (configuration, administration, rule design)

+ Proven experience installing, administering, and customizing enterprise DQ applications

+ Expertise in Collibra workflow design/implementation, strong Java and API development skills

+ Experience integrating Collibra with enterprise data platforms and services (e.g., Snowflake, RDBMS, REST)

+ **Nice to have:**

+ Experience developing custom integrations using Collibra APIs

+ Experience building governance metrics/scorecards using Collibra DQ metadata

+ 5+ years implementing Collibra integrations (workflows, connectors, automation)

Experience:

+ Proven track record delivering enterprise data governance and data quality solutions

+ Strong collaboration and communication skills, working with both business and technical stakeholders

+ Experience in data management, metadata, and data quality monitoring frameworks

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
