Lockbox Production Specialist

Job Purpose & Scope
Responsible for the daily processing of incoming lockbox payments and production of customer deliverables including ACH, online remit, and lockbox processing.
Essential Job Functions
+ Opens incoming mail and sorts by type of work.
+ Operates high-speed document scanner.
+ Stages work through daily workflow and into document retention area.
+ Completes data input for individual transactions.
+ Validates production and distribution of system-generated reports and data files.
+ Validates daily deposits for lockbox clients.
+ Distributes and compiles receipts of documents and materials that are sent from Bank to clients and from clients to Bank.
+ Completes ongoing training on Bank procedures and policies.
+ Researches and answers inquiries from internal departments and clients.
+ Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
+ Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
+ Knowledge of lockbox functions and procedures.
+ Ability to use a 10-key calculator.
+ Ability to work without close supervision.
+ Ability to demonstrate excellent internal customer service skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to work well with exacting deadlines.
+ Ability to adapt well to repeated interruptions and change.
+ Ability to respond to internal (i.e., departmental staff, business development staff, branch staff) requests and demands professionally and promptly.
+ Ability to learn and follow Bank policies and procedures.
+ Ability to drive an automobile.
+ Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
+ Ability to work occasional overtime.
+ Ability to lift boxes in the mail room/lockbox and trays of checks when processing cash letters (up to 25 lbs.) with or without accommodation.
+ Ability to work in area with loud equipment with or without accommodation.
+ Skill in using computer, including knowledge of basic computer file structure and configuration techniques, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Basic Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Minimum of one (1) year of work experience with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, required.
+ Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
