Job Purpose & Scope
Drives new loan production, deposit growth, client development, and establishes new client relationships. Fosters internal collaboration aligned with the OZK Way and Commercial Bank Vision Statement.
Essential Job Functions
+ Develops and manages business relationships. Learns the unique needs of customers and provides appropriate financial solutions to fit individual circumstances and resolve issues.
+ Drives loan production and deposit growth by proactively identifying opportunities and cross-selling Bank products and services, including Treasury Management and Merchant opportunities.
+ Identifies, pursues, and closes sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services.
+ Collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing and client satisfaction.
+ Represents the Bank in the community through active participation in professional organizations and community events.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Comprehensive of the business banking market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
+ General knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
+ General knowledge of financial products and services for business clients.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the ability to present financial information accurately.
+ Ability to utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision making.
+ Ability to build strong relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
+ Ability to demonstrate initiative to meet sales goals and drive growth and innovation.
+ Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, including the ability to work with all levels of management.
+ Ability to demonstrate effective strategic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to demonstrate effective analytical skills with the ability to assess loan risks and make sound financial decisions.
+ Ability to demonstrate a high degree of integrity and commitment to uphold the Bank's values, culture, and reputation.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while working with exacting deadlines and shifting demands, unforeseen events, and changing priorities.
+ Ability to travel overnight, as needed.
+ Skill in banking systems and software.
+ Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or job-related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
+ 4+ years of experience in business banking sales and client relations, or related sales and relationship management experience in a banking or financial environment, required.
+ 2+ years of experience in credit analysis and risk assessment, or related experience in a financial institution, preferred.
