Travel Surgical Technician

Salary: $2500 / Week
The Surgical Technician Job Details:
• Scrub and/or circulate general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck); GYN, Urology; trauma, organ procurement
• OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery
• The team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have transplant, trauma and neuro experience
• Must have NBSTSA certification
• May be required to float to main campus BIDMC as needed – discussed in interview
• Flu vaccine required by start date
• COVID vaccine no longer required
• Flu required by start date
• Must not have worked either travel, perm, or per diem within the Beth Israel Lahey Health system throughout the past six months
• MUST BE A TRAVELER located > 50 miles from facility
• File due date -> Wednesday prior to start date
• RTO requests must be presented at time of submittal
Schedule Details:
40 hours per week
• 4x10s day shift
• 7a-5:30p
• Up to two weekends a month
• Rotating holidays
• On call details below
On-Call:
• Either call 7a-7p or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/Holidays or working shifts
• 30 min response time for call
• Short call shift one time a week, 3a-7a or 5p-9p
