    **As part of the VELYS Enabling Tech team,** the Value Stream Leader (VSL) will lead the end to end (E2E) supply chain operational execution – focused on implementing modern, best practice manufacturing and supply chain processes on a global scale, including overseeing new product launches. The leader will leverage a deep understanding of the global Medical Technology industry and its channels to inform decision-making.

     

    The leader will manage a team focused on E2E supply chain product management, playing a vital role in guiding newly launched products throughout their lifecycle, emphasizing process enhancements, managing projects and capital, optimizing costs, planning for business continuity, overseeing capacity management, and formulating innovative manufacturing strategies. They will foster collaboration among Supply Chain, Commercial, and R&D partners to create customer-centric Life Cycle strategies that align with franchise objectives.

     

    The VSL holds a highly visible position with the responsibility of advancing and executing their E2E value stream initiatives. This ambitious role encompasses both strategic and tactical components within a multifunctional, global environment focusing on key PVSM processes: Product Strategy Development, LCM portfolio management, product operational & stakeholder management, issue management and product portfolio optimization. The leader will manage a portfolio of projects and processes across diverse product value streams, with a primary goal of optimizing supply chain performance through end-to-end thinking. This includes making informed, profitable trade-offs and taking overall ownership of the products. Furthermore, this role is crucial for achieving business objectives and promoting functional excellence and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead the strategic vision and deployment of E2E Supply Chain strategies to support business growth, including developing a multi-year roadmap for GP improvements and continuous cost reductions in GP and COGS aligned with the Business Strategic Plan.

    + Evaluate and implement the latest technology in line with new product launches, business continuity, and capacity planning.

    + Support product strategy and architecture throughout the product lifecycle, including deploying and maintaining technology roadmaps, technology transfer for lifecycle management (LCM), BCP/Capacity, and network optimization

    + Lead a team of supply chain professionals to achieve business goals and performance targets, manage employee development and succession planning initiatives, and oversee the creation and execution of business reviews for VELYS Enabling Tech, tracking progress and delivering value

    + Develop processes to manage and balance the Supply Chain project portfolio, improving areas like Reliability, Capacity, NPI, Profitability, Compliance, and Digitalization, while coordinating initiatives to meet timelines and stakeholder expectations

    + Align metrics and KPIs, focusing on Reliability, Innovation, Profitability, and Cashflow

    + Set performance targets for internal and external manufacturing operations to achieve GOC and enterprise goals

    + Implement supply risk management strategies

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    + Experience in Manufacturing is required

    + A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience is required

    + Understanding of the linkages in Supply Chain from demand planning through delivery to customer (E2E) is required

    + Experience working in a complex matrix organization and achieving results through leveraging internal and external partners is required

    + Proven track record of people leadership and development with minimum 3 years experience is required

    + Experience in data analytics is required

    Preferred:

    + Advanced degree (Masters, MBA) is preferred

    + Experience in Distribution, Planning, Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, or R&D in a Healthcare Industry is preferred

    + Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS is preferred

    + Experience developing strategic plans in alignment with corporate strategic goals is preferred

    + Experience working in a global environment is preferred

    + Knowledge/experience with master production schedule process, inventory management, supply chain management is preferred

    + Strong understanding of the new product introduction process is preferred

    + Six Sigma, Lean, and/or FPX certification is preferred

    Other:

    + Up to 25% domestic and/or international travel is required
