    Job Description

    IG is seeking a seasoned Underwriting Manager to lead a high-performing team of 10 underwriters. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep expertise in financial analysis and underwriting methodologies, particularly in self-funded and underwritten ratings. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring accurate risk assessments across the organization.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Bachelor's degree in related field

     

    -10+ years of professional experience

     

    -5+ years of experience in finance or statistics

     

    -5+ years in underwriting with experience leading a team of at least 5 direct reports

     

    -Must have heavy Excel -experience completing underwritten and self-funded ratings

     

    -Healthcare/Pharmacy underwriting experience
