    Role Overview

     

    As a Dowty Field Service Representative, you will provide technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE products. This role requires hands-on repair and maintenance of composite propeller systems and related components, with the possibility of up to 60% worldwide travel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide technical direction and assistance to customers in operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of GE products.

    + Interpret data and technical instructions on-site.

    + Communicate program status, customer issues, and market intelligence to Product Support and Field Service teams.

    + Assist customers in scheduling maintenance and ensuring parts meet established schedules.

    + Perform intermediate and depot-level maintenance, including hands-on repair of composite propeller systems.

    + Collaborate with the UK services team for civil customer support.

    + Review maintenance effectiveness and recommend training needs.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of aviation experience in a field service or maintenance position).

    + Minimum of 2 years performing extensive repairs, conversions, and maintenance on engines and/or propellers.

    + Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs.

    + Must pass a non-DOT drug test and background check.

    + Position is based at Cannon AFB, NM.
