    The role you'll contribute:

    The Pharmacy mail clerk performs a wide range of supportive duties to assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications so that patients receive consistent care. Duties include packing medications, manifesting postage, managing supply storage and coordinating with couriers. Works only under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and does not perform duties that can only be legally performed by a registered pharmacist or registered pharmacy technician.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    + Completes USPS, SmartPost, and FedEx processes for proper shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

    + Troubleshoots FedEx Cafe to resolve any issues related to shipping and delivery.

    + Confirms shipping manifests to ensure all packages are accounted for and have been picked up by the appropriate courier.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:

    + High School Graduate or equivalent

    + Basic proficiency skill set in MS Office: Word and Outlook.

    + Ability to interpret prescription and knowledge of the generic names of medications and medical terminology; vast understanding of mathematical principles to perform pharmaceutical calculations.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    + 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in a production or manufacturing setting
