Come and join our fast growing Radiology / Interventional Service Line. Interventional Radiology is a medical subspecialty that performs minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance such as MRI, CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopy.
The Interventional Radiology department provides a safe and comfortable environment for both patients and personnel. Patients can expect care to be professional and timely. The patient’s physical, psychological, and social needs will be addressed. Patients are initially assessed on the inpatient nursing unit or perioperative unit and are reassessed on arrival to the IR suite. Patients are continually reassessed throughout the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure periods. Modifications to the plan of care are based on reassessment of the patient.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Operates Fluoroscopy unit.
+ Uses ultrasound and IVUS to guide procedures.
+ Scrubs in vascular procedures and interventional procedures.
+ Maintains sterile technique.
+ Sets up room and sterile trays.
+ Work in an OR environment.
Scheduling Requirement:
+ Shifts are Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. The employee is required to work 5 shifts every two weeks, alternating between 2 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week.
+ 7 days per month on call. Monday-Friday 6pm-7am. Weekends are 24 hours on call.
What We Require for this Role:
Education
+ Graduate of an approved and accredited program for Radiology Technologist required.
Related Work Experience
+ Interventional Radiology experience required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
+ Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (ARRT) required.
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
+ NJ state licensure/certification as a Radiology Technologist required.
+ AART certification in vascular interventional technology preferred.

Salary Range:
$36.56 - $58.30/Hourly
As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
