HR Administrative Assistant
The Opportunity
FCA is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department including managing documentation, maintaining employee records, assisting with HR systems, and providing support in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of Human Resources!
Responsibilities
+ Act as the main point of contact for general HR inquiries, directing staff to the appropriate HR team member when needed
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and HR databases.
+ Prepare HR documents, such as offer letters and onboarding packets.
+ Assist in generating reports on HR metrics as requested.
+ Support payroll and benefits as requested.
+ Assist with posting job openings on internal and external platforms.
+ Schedule interviews and maintain the applicant tracking system
+ Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring completion of required forms.
+ Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR-led events.
+ Help track completion of compliance training and performance reviews.
+ Assist with audits as needed.
Qualifications
+ Associate's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources
+ Strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience preferred.
+ The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
