• Private Credit Structurer

    Citi is looking to hire a Private Credit Structurer for the to join the Spread Products team in NYC. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced credit trader to work on primary **loan underwriting** , execution and distribution of transactions while also being responsible for booking and risk managing the transactions.

     

    **What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are** :

    + Individual to be private side and to work with private side Sales (previously Corporate Solutions Group), Banking, CMO, DCM on **primary loan sourcing opportunities** , execution and together with SP Syndicate **where there is a distribution aspect to** transactions

    + Detailed experience in structuring loans, collateral packages, different distribution formats (CLN, TRS, sub-participation, CDS, insurance, etc.) is a requirement, **particularly direct lending and corporate loans, as well as loan-on-loan structures**

    + The individual would need to make direct trading decisions for the Trading books and work closely together with Structuring when identifying, structuring and pricing transactions

    + The includes HFS/HFI books on the **Financing** side

    What we will need from you:

    + This is not an entry level role, so the successful candidate will need to have current trading and structuring experience as well as experience and exposure to primary loans **as outlined above** .

    + Clear and concise written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

    + **Strong track record from large IB or buyside preferred**
