About the Enterprise Data Office (EDO)

The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) is a critical function responsible for establishing and maintaining consistent standards and capabilities across the organization for comprehensive enterprise data management.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Data Risk & Control Lead to manage and drive the Data Risk & Control forum. The Data Risk & Control forum has representation from risk & control leads across the first and second lines of defense and it oversees firm's adherence to the Data Risk Appetite, data risk metrics and associated thresholds, performance of data controls and status of data risk issues.

Key Responsibilities

+ Schedule meetings

+ Define agendas

+ Prepare clear and concise materials

+ Draft and finalize meeting minutes

+ Track action items until closure

+ Maintain governance forum charter

Qualifications:

+ 6+ years of experience in Risk & Control governance, Risk Management function with a bank, Financial Services consulting, or regulatory body

+ 5+ years of experience with Data Governance /Data Management

+ Understanding of processes and regulation associated with Risk & Control, such as Risk Appetite and Limits, Internal Control, and Issue management processes

+ Proven experience in managing and preparing high-quality presentations for senior leadership and governance forums

+ Previous experience and ability to assess complex issues and identify potential solutions

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations

+ Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail

+ Demonstrated team-oriented approach with strong organizational skills

+ Pro-active mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and drive initiatives

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Business, related Technical discipline or equivalent work experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
