    Description:

    **Saint Francis Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England** looking for a Practice Supervisor to join to our Oncology Center.

     

    The **Practice Supervisor** will oversee and monitor the operations of the Oncology Center. responsible for supervising the daily operations of the practice and performing a variety of administrative functions related to the practice operations.

    _What you will do:_

    + Under the leadership of the Operations Manager, the Practice Supervisor directly supervises support staff and all functions related to patient flow.

    + Ensures daily rounding is performed to enable smooth patient flow.

    + Coordinates staff to ensure proper coverage for quality patient care.

    + Monitors attendance for staff. Addresses concerns in a timely manner.

    + Identifies office inefficiencies and proposes solutions.

    + Responsible for customer service and productivity standards. Ensures that the Operations Manager is informed of issues in a timely fashion.

    + Collaborates with the Operations Manager in all hiring decisions and employee performance management.

    + Ensures all equipment is maintained and inventories are at appropriate levels for the practice needs.

    + Orients all new hires to practice office procedures and ensures access and training to systems as needed.

    + Ensures staff adherence to policies and procedures, compliance, risk management and HIPPA requirements.

    _Minimum Qualifications:_

    + **Education** : Minimally requires a high school diploma and eight (8) years healthcare experience, or Associates' in a healthcare field and five (5) years' experience, or a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' of healthcare experience.

    + Experience in an outpatient office environment preferred; one (1+) year supervisory/managerial experience is preferred. Proven experience in all aspects of a medical/healthcare practice.

    + Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Demonstrated ability in leadership and managing a team.

    + Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization and communication skills required.

    + Ability to improve quality and productivity by identifying improvement opportunities in the practice
