SUMMARY
The Vice President of Enterprise Development is responsible for driving new corporate business acquisition at a national level, with a primary focus on securing large, multi-site accounts exceeding $1 million annually. This role serves as our organization’s ambassador to corporate prospects, leading C-suite engagements, developing tailored value propositions, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes. The VP will identify and prioritize high-value corporate targets aligned with strategic growth goals, applying a structured, consultative sales methodology to deliver customized solutions in collaboration with Operations and Sales teams. This role requires exceptional executive communication skills, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to close complex enterprise deals while fostering high-integrity, long-term client relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ VP Enterprise Development focuses exclusively on new corporate business acquisition, typically multi-site and Gold level (>$1M annually per account
+ New Logo Acquisition - Primary focus on acquiring new corporate clients (national)
+ Corporate Value Proposition - Develop and deliver compelling value propositions specifically for corporate prospects, enhancing my production on this area with an additional senior resource
+ Complex Sales Methodology - Implement structured approaches for navigating multi-stakeholder corporate buying processes
+ Strategic Prospect Targeting - Identify and prioritize high-value corporate targets aligned with our growth objectives and market verticals
+ Executive-Level Engagement - Lead C-suite conversations and presentations with prospects, serving as the face of our company to potential corporate clients
+ Solution Development - Collaborate with OPS and Sales teams to develop tailored offerings for corporate requirement
Enterprise Account Leadership and Coordination: You will serve as the primary relationship manager for designated enterprise accounts, with responsibility for strategic oversight and coordination across multiple locations within these enterprise organizations. In this capacity, you will:
+ Lead enterprise-level strategy, relationship development, and account planning for assigned multi-location account
+ Coordinate sales efforts across all locations within the enterprise account and sales team structure
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise-level decision-makers and stakeholders
Commission Structure for Enterprise Accounts: For sales activities within enterprise accounts under your strategic leadership, commissions will be structured to recognize both enterprise-level coordination and local sales execution. When multiple representatives contribute to revenue generation within a single enterprise account:
+ The enterprise account leader will receive compensation reflecting their strategic oversight and enterprise relationship management
+ Local or location-specific business development representatives might receive compensation reflecting their direct sales activities at individual locations
+ Commission allocation will be determined based on the nature and scope of each representative’s contribution, with the framework established collaboratively between the involved parties and sales leadership
+ In cases where representatives cannot reach mutual agreement on commission splits, final determination will be made by the CEO
Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), engineering, data science, or related discipline. (required).
+ 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of closing complex deals
+ 5+ years in a sales leadership role with responsibility for new business acquisition
+ Demonstrated success in building corporate relationships and navigating complex buying processes
+ Experience in our industry or related sectors (preferred)
+ History of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
+ Self-motivated with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
+ Dynamic and polished professional presence that instills confidence at the executive level
+ Technical proficiency and natural curiosity to understand underlying critical elements of our solutions
+ Results-oriented with a focus on measurable outcomes
+ High integrity and ethical standards
+ Collaborative team player who can work effectively across organizational boundaries
