    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    *

     

    * Utilizes accepted processes of care in interactions with all patients, to include: documenting symptoms and vital signs, and responses to interventions, reporting progress to providers.

    * Collects assessment data and reports to provider or RN, per practice protocol.

    * Demonstrated the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to the populations served.

    * Adheres to the practice standards and procedures of the Practice in the administration of medications and patient care activities, per practice protocol.

    * Documents care provided using Practice Group standards to include filing lab results and reporting untoward results to Physician/Practitioner.

    * Provides education to patient and families based on assessment of learning needs.

    * Assists Physician/Practitioner with procedures as requested and performs simple lab tests in the office.

    * Creates and maintains the patient care environment to include: meeting all safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and inventory supplies and sterility/cleanliness of equipment.

    * Documents care and progress.

    * Completes appropriate charging documentation, per practice protocol.

    * Medical Assistants (MAs) may administer B12 injections, Medication such as Decadron and Rocephin, plant PPD tests and administer immunizations as directed by provider.

     

    Minimum pay: $21.19

     

    Maximum pay: $32.85
