    What You'll Do:

    As an LPN at CHI Mercy Health Valley City, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, providing direct care to a diverse patient population. Your key responsibilities will include:

     

    + **Delivering Direct Patient Care:** Provide hands-on patient care to patients across various needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive experience.

    + **Following Treatment Plans:** Possess and/or actively seek the knowledge required to meticulously follow medical and nursing plans of treatment and care for each patient.

    + **Performing Assessments & Treatments:** Conduct patient assessments, perform various procedures, and administer treatments accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

    + **Accurate Reporting & Documentation:** Maintain precise and timely documentation of all patient observations, care provided, and any changes in patient condition.

    + **Ensuring Safe & Confidential Care:** Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain the utmost confidentiality of patient information at all times.

    + **Collaborating with the Team:** Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, communicating essential patient information and contributing to a cohesive patient care environment.

    + **Continuous Learning:** Remain current with best practices in nursing care and actively participate in professional development opportunities.

    Job Requirements

    + Graduate of an accredit school of practical nursing.

    + Licensed Practical Nurse: ND (LPN:ND)

    + Basic Life Support - (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

    Pay Range

    $19.96 - $28.19 /hour
