EJ has an immediate REMOTE opportunity for a Technical Sales position in the Midwest Region.

This is a remote role; the ideal candidate would live within the Midwest Region. Although Chicago is listed as the reporting branch, there is not a need to work in-person at that location.

SUMMARY

Provides technical and sales support for underground construction specification work on all Company products and/or processes by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

+ Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

+ Visits customers, end users and specifiers of our product, educating them about our new items.

+ Conducts customer and specifier educational seminars (consultants, municipalities, and DOT personnel).

+ Primary contact for area sales and customer technical related questions.

+ Tracks market trends and reports them to product engineering.

+ Provides direct customer communication when needed for our product.

+ Attend trade shows, meetings, exhibitions and conventions to make customer contacts.

+ Maintain complete knowledge of our castings and fabricated products.

+ Work with engineering personnel on design modifications and submittals for customer approval.

+ Train our inside sales staff on working with our own product line.

+ Work with area team to develop product strategy and implementation for existing and new market areas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; preferably in Civil Engineering field. Minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ability to travel both by air and automobile extensively when required.
