As a **Airport Law Enforcement Office** in **Lihue, HI** , As an **Airport Law Enforcement Officer** you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. This is an armed security position, you are commissioned to the airport as a Law Enforcement/Airport Police Officer. Candidates must have completed a recognized law enforcement training academy and possess verifiable prior experience. This position is **not** a training program for individuals seeking to become law enforcement officers.

Position Type: Full Time - Morning Shift

Pay Rate:** **$28.86 with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, **all applicants must meet the following criteria** :

+ **2+ years of professional law enforcement experience** in the U.S. _after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy_ (Federal, State, or County level)

+ Must provide **valid and verifiable credentials** at the time of application

Pre-Employment Requirements:

+ **Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)**

+ **Valid Driver's License**

+ **Law Enforcement Officer License**

+ **22+ years of age**

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter and designated areas.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity and/or unauthorized individuals to help to deter potential security-related threats.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related situations as they arise.

+ Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections.

+ Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.

+ Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.

+ Must be at least 22 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
