As a **Security Officer - Dispatch Center - Full Time** in **Maiden, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic tech and media environment. You will monitor communications, coordinate response efforts, and provide critical information to teams throughout the location. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help to deter incidents and contribute to a secure atmosphere, while delivering exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Operate as a dispatcher, monitoring and coordinating security-related communications and activities within the location.

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response protocols as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to appropriate personnel and/or authorities.

+ Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities handled during the shift.

+ Communicate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the location.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 3 years of security-related experience, or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
