As a **Security Officer Retail Unarmed Patrol Full-Time** in **Culver City, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for visitors and staff. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to help to deter unwanted behavior within the location.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.

+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

+ Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols during incidents at the location.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
