    As a **_Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer_** you can be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of the communities we represent. This role offers the opportunity to lead and direct the design of water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection projects, manage project scope, schedule, and budgets, and provide technical direction to a team of design engineers and technical staff. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment working on innovative projects that make a lasting, positive impact on society.

     

    This position can be based in **any Ohio office** as a **hybrid** role collaborating with team members in other offices.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead and direct design of water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection projects from the planning and design phases

    + Creating, managing and developing projects to meet desired scope, schedule and budgets

    + Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications

    + Prepare project cost estimates and schedules

    + Provide overall supervision and technical direction and expertise to team of design engineers and technical staff

    + Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams

    + Interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff

    + Interaction with regulatory agencies

    + Support or lead preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits

    + Client management and development

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

    + 10+ years’ experience in water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager

    + Current PE license in OH is required

    + Working with municipal and private clients

    + Understanding of state and Federal funding opportunities for projects

    + Experience in regulatory compliance requirements and permitting

    + Strong team leadership experience or proven potential; including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring

    + Excellent technical skills in the water/ wastewater / treatment/ distribution/ collection practice area

    Salary Range:

    The starting salary for this position is $110,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
