Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bennettsville, South Carolina to find a qualified and experienced **Manufacturing Engineering Technician** to join their growing team!

The **Manufacturing Engineering Technician** is an entry-level engineering role offering opportunities for growth as company needs evolve and experience is gained. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist the Bennettsville facility Engineer with daily engineering activities.

+ Develop, update, and improve process work instructions.

+ Evaluate and analyze manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality improvements.

+ Initiate and manage engineering change notices (ECNs).

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles.

+ Regularly communicate with the Bennettsville facility through daily video calls and virtual meetings.

+ Support the implementation of new manufacturing methods, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in-person and virtual.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

+ Mechanical aptitude and foundational knowledge of engineering concepts and terminology.

+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, particularly for wiring harnesses and related components.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience or basic skills in CAD software (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks).

+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Training & Development:

+ Comprehensive on-site training will be provided to strong candidates. A genuine desire to learn, grow, and contribute to process and product improvements is essential for success in this role.

The pay rate will range between $15 - $20 depending on experience.

**Pay Details:** $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
