    Description

    Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to support an interim engagement with a manufacturing company in Mansfield, Ohio. Role entails supporting the 2026 budget build process, as well as multiple daily and ad hoc internal reporting and financial analysis requirements. Ideal candidates will have prior manufacturing industry FP& A experience, as well as be self-driven and willing to reverse engineer and retrace steps from previous spreadsheets and reports. Role is expected to last until late Dec 2025. Client is location in Mansfield and works a hybrid schedule. Commute to Mansfield 2-3 days per week is required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze profit and loss flash reports during month-end close processes.

    • Update and refine forecasts, including the 9+3 forecasting model.

    • Support budget preparation efforts by collaborating on annual budget updates.

    • Generate and distribute daily financial reports to stakeholders.

    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) by retracing and documenting previous processes in Excel.

    • Utilize OneStream and Excel to manage and present financial data effectively.

    • Investigate and refine processes independently to enhance operational efficiency.

    • Conduct capital management analysis and provide actionable insights.

    • Assist in creating adaptive financial models and reports to support decision-making.

     

    Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis within a manufacturing environment.

     

    • Proficiency in tools such as OneStream, Microsoft Excel, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

    • Strong ability to work independently, with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.

    • Experience preparing annual budgets and monthly financial close reports.

    • Advanced knowledge of forecasting methodologies and adaptive insights.

    • Familiarity with enterprise performance management (EPM) systems.

    • Proven ability to create and document processes with minimal guidance.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
