Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage data entry tasks efficiently. With flexible hours and the potential for a long-term opportunity, this position offers a great chance to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data accurately into the Workday system to ensure timely approval and processing of accounts payable transactions.

• Review and code invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist with expense tracking and reconciliation to support financial reporting.

• Organize and manage administrative tasks, including coordinating work functions and events.

• Collaborate with team members and the Controller to confirm the accuracy of financial records.

• Support the preparation of check runs and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

• Address and resolve discrepancies related to invoice processing and payment inquiries.

• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable documentation for audit purposes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and coding.

• Familiarity with Workday or similar financial systems is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time, flexible schedule.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and resolve issues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• A proactive and adaptable mindset to handle administrative and financial responsibilities.
