    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Moorpark, California. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and vendor payments. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong organizational skills and a passion for maintaining financial accuracy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process a high volume of invoices, averaging approximately 300 per week, with precision and efficiency.

    • Maintain and nurture vendor relationships while addressing store-level accounts payable needs.

    • Perform comprehensive reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

    • Apply intermediate Excel skills, such as creating pivot tables and conducting data analysis, to streamline workflows.

    • Handle invoice coding and ensure proper account allocations for all payments.

    • Facilitate Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and oversee check runs to ensure timely processing.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address payment inquiries and support financial reporting.

    • Monitor accounts payable processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position.

    • Proficiency in handling high-volume invoice processing with attention to detail.

    • Strong skills in account coding and invoice management.

    • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs.

    • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and analyze data.

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities for managing vendor relationships.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and adhering to financial procedures.
