    Description We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in connecting individuals with essential services, resources, and support, while ensuring a positive and impactful customer experience.     Responsibilities:

    • Respond to inbound calls and inquiries, providing accurate information, referrals, or assistance based on client needs.

    • Record and manage detailed documentation of all customer interactions using web-based systems.

    • Stay informed on current services, programs, and resources to ensure clients receive up-to-date and relevant support.

    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to address and resolve client concerns and requests.

    • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and empathy in all communications.

    • Utilize bilingual Spanish/English skills to assist a diverse range of clients.

    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures while addressing customer needs.

    • Handle customer inquiries through multiple platforms, including phone, chat, and email.

    • Support billing or benefit-related functions as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Requirements • Associate’s degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience combined with education beyond high school will be considered.

    • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a call center or similar customer service environment.

    • Background in public health, social work, psychology, sociology, criminology, or related social sciences is advantageous.

    • Proficiency in web-based systems, CRM platforms, and tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; skills test may be required.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically.

    • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.

    • Familiarity with systems like Epic Software, Avaya CMS, and other customer service tools is a plus.
