Description We are looking for an Admissions Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient operation of admissions processes and delivering exceptional service to applicants and learners. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to both production tasks and non-production initiatives that enhance quality, cycle times, and overall user experience in a dynamic higher education environment.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve and maintain production goals by delivering high-quality outcomes within established timelines.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of workflows across the department and cross-train in areas outside your primary expertise.

• Address escalations and resolve issues impacting applicants and learners while identifying systemic improvements.

• Support training efforts by serving as a subject matter expert or trainer, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance team capabilities.

• Partner with various departments to identify and implement process improvements that optimize efficiency and user experience.

• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce cycle times and enhance operational stability.

• Conduct quality assurance activities to detect and resolve process defects and improve individual and team performance.

• Manage knowledge systems and documentation, ensuring staff and partner teams have access to accurate and up-to-date resources.

• Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise initiatives and team projects, contributing insights and expertise.

• Engage in development opportunities to strengthen skills in leadership, data analytics, communication, and operational management. Requirements • Minimum of nine months of experience in higher education or admissions and records operations.

• At least one year of customer service experience.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and document management systems.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and think critically to solve problems.

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to change and ambiguity.

• Experience in administrative assistance, project management, and electronic document management.

• Preference for candidates with Lean/Six-Sigma, training, or operations management experience.
