Required Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5 or more years of related professional experience, and 3 or more years of supervisory experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education, social work, counseling or related field plus at least 5 years of experience in higher education programs for disadvantaged, underrepresented, and/or disabled students, which includes administrative experience in program and staff management, and must understand the problems and needs of the full range of a diverse student and have a minimum of 3-4 years of supervisory experience in higher education programs working with low-income, first-generation students, students with disabilities, or a TRIO -related program body.
Experience in program and staff management, including budgeting and grant management, program planning and evaluation, remote learning and/or distance education, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer expertise in word processing and database management is a necessity. Experience in working with students to overcome barriers similar to those of targeted population in an institution of higher education.

The target salary range is for this position is $51,281 to $67,947 commensurate with the selected candidate’s education and experience while considering internal equity.
