    Accounting Manager

     

    A client of ours is looking for an Accounting Manager for a contract role. This role will be responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, financial reporting, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.

     

    Responsibilities of Accounting Manager

     

    + Oversee general accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records

    + Manage cost of goods and purchase orders

    + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

    + Support financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting

    + Handle aspects of technical accounting as needed

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment

    + Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies

    Requirements

    Skills/Qualifications of Accounting Manager

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)

    + Proven experience in accounting management or similar leadership role

    + Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting

    + Experience with cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning

    + Manufacturing industry experience a strong plus

    + AS400 or Oracle experience is a plus, but not required

    + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
