We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Department Manager to lead operations in Large Power Transformer production. This role requires a strong commitment to safety-first leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. How you’ll make animpact + **Safety andCompliance:** Ensureadherence to OSHA and Siemens Energy safety standards, promote a strongsafety culture, and maintain full compliance with EHS regulations throughtraining, audits, and risk assessments. + **OperationsManagement:** Overseedaily manufacturing activities, coordinate production schedules, andmonitor key performance indicators (safety, quality, delivery, cost,inventory) to meet customer commitments. + **Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:** Workclosely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management toresolve production issues and align operations with business goals. + **Leadership andTeam Development:** Manage and mentor production staff, support workforceplanning, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment. + **ContinuousImprovement:** ApplyLean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks,improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance process efficiency. + **Budget and CostControl:** Supportbudget planning, control production costs, and identify cost-savingopportunities while maintaining safety and quality standard What You Bring + **Education:** Bachelor’s degreein electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or IndustrialEngineering. + **Experience:** Minimum 10 yearsin manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership or peoplemanagement role; experience in transformer manufacturing or heavyelectrical equipment is preferred. + **TechnicalExpertise:** Skilledin production planning, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (certificationpreferred), TPM, OEE, and continuous improvement; strong knowledge of OSHAand EHS compliance. + **Systems Knowledge:** Familiaritywith ERP systems such as SAP or HANA, and experience with quality control,root cause analysis, and corrective actions. + **Leadership &Soft Skills:** Provenability to lead and develop high-performing teams; strong communication,problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; collaborative andresults-driven. + **Language &Mobility:** Fluentin English with willingness to travel occasionally and relocate for theposition.
