• Senior Accountant

    Aston Carter (Overland Park, KS)


    Aston Carter is working with a great client of ours in the Overland Park area who are looking to hire a Senior Accountant for the next few months. This person will be an interim Senior Accountant while the company is looking to fill several other roles. There is possibility the role can go longer based on several factors. NetSuite expereince is highly preferred but not required.

    Job Description

    As an accountant, you will engage in various financial tasks including reconciliations, recording journal entries, and contributing to special projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional experience with a dynamic company.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

    + Record journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

    + Assist with one-off projects as needed to support the financial team.

    + Contribute to financial reporting processes using systems like NetSuite and Oracle.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in accounting and reconciliation processes.

    + Experience in recording journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

    + Familiarity with financial reporting systems, particularly NetSuite and Oracle.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelors in Accounting required

    + NetSuite experience highly preferred

    + 5+ years of G/L accounting expereince required

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $44.00/hr.
