    Job Summary:

    The Director, IT Network Solutions, is responsible for providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and technical oversight for the enterprise’s wifi, voice and data network infrastructure and interactive services. This role ensures system availability, performance management, capacity planning, data center operations, hybrid cloud connectivity and disaster recovery planning, while driving innovation and continuous improvement across all network solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term infrastructure plans, adapting departmental priorities to meet evolving business and operational goals.

    + Oversee architectural design, implementation, and support for all network (switching & routing), and interactive services.

    + Manage business plan schedules, resource assignments, and budgets for network and telecommunications projects.

    + Establish and monitor capital and expense budgets, ensuring accurate projections.

    + Direct the purchasing, selection, and installation of infrastructure including software, hardware, and wireless technologies.

    + Hire, coach, and retain top talent; evaluate training needs and support career development.

    + Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies (SOX, PCI, etc.).

    + Identify and resolve operational/system risks to ensure high system availability.

    + Provide leadership for IT governance, business plan, and change control processes.

    + Effectively communicate technical concepts to senior management, peers, and service providers.

    Specialized Technology Requirements

    + Must have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing Aruba wireless network solutions.

    + Proven experience with ZOOM Phone System deployment, integration, and support within an enterprise environment.

    + Demonstrated expertise in Fortinet SDWAN architecture, implementation, and optimization.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

    + 10+ years of progressive experience in technical and managerial aspects of Information Technology.

    + At least 7 years in supervisory/management roles for wifi, voice and data networks.

    + Strong knowledge of network infrastructure design, implementation, maintenance, upgrade, and operations, preferably in retail industry.

    + Deep familiarity with strategic network/communications concepts.

    + Experience with various operating systems and industry standards.

    + Proven project management skills and ability to manage technical personnel.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Experience managing medium to large teams and offshore resources.

    + Experience with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).

    + Direct experience with Aruba WiFi, ZOOM Phone System, and Fortinet SDWAN is required.

     

    This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

     

    In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $161,500.00.
