    Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Operations Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII supporting the N4 Facilities Directorate of NAVY CLOSURE TASK FORCE RED HILL, providing technical oversight on construction projects to decommission the RED HILL BULK FUEL STORAGE FACILITY. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Responsibilities You will serve as a construction Engineering Technician and provide engineering support services in the field of construction contracts primarily between the Navy/Marine Corps and private contractors. You will evaluate and assure the quality control efforts of the construction contractor and provide coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects. You will assist with arranging and coordinating pre-final ad final acceptance inspections. You will provide support to contract specialists/contract officers relevant to the administration of construction contracts/task orders. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) assisting with coordinating the construction quality management program for assigned projects with contractors to ensure worksite safety and contract requirements are being adhered to; 2) assisting with the resolution of encountered field issues, problems or conflicts; 3) assisting in coordinating the delivery, storage, and use of furnished equipment.
