As a Wealth Planning Analyst with Vanguard, you’ll be part of a team within the Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) division advising our ultra-high net worth clients and their families through their unique and complex investment journeys by providing them with advanced estate planning, income tax and financial planning analysis. You will be a trusted advisor, bringing education and world-class client experience to the client, playing an instrumental role in making sure the assets our clients have worked hard to accumulate benefit the people or organizations they care about the most.

This role will be within the Advice and Wealth Management division working with our Wealth Planning Consultants who serve our ultra-high-net-worth clients with planning and strategy in the areas of income tax, advanced estate planning, and financial planning.

Core Responsibilities

+ Support Wealth Planning Consultants providing income tax, estate planning, and wealth planning consultations to Vanguard clients. This includes:

+ Review client's information and accompanying documents.

+ Create complete and accurate client deliverables and make other preparations for upcoming client appointments.

+ Assist internal business partners as needed for exceptional client outcomes.

+ Partner with financial advisors as they support clients in these subject areas and follow Vanguard's investment methodology.

+ Analyzes internal systems and processes to identify opportunities to improve the client experience and mitigate risk.

+ Research client issues and recommend solutions.

+ Maintain strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies and procedures, as well as general market trends.

+ Supports department and team initiatives.

+ Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Undergraduate degree required.

+ Minimum of five years related work experience in a related field and two years of project management experience preferred.

+ Experience in financial services encouraged.

Other Considerations

+ Candidates must be able to commute to Scottsdale, AZ office, Charlotte, NC, or Malvern, PA offices for a hybrid three-day in office work schedule.

+ Travel will be required to Vanguard offices for training, offsites, or client meetings in other locations. Travel for these purposes is anticipated to be not more than 20%.

+ Experience working remotely with demonstration of the ability to work independently while being a contributing member of a team is preferred as the schedule will be hybrid with two days remote.
