Job Description Summary

The Project Manager will lead customer project management processes, and report to the North America Projects & Services Leader, of the GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions business.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Manage solar power and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects commonly ranging in value from $10 million to $200 million US.

+ Drive customer satisfaction trough effective communication, contract compliance, and meeting expectations with respect to safety, quality and delivery.

+ Manage the execution of customer contracts from contract finalization through contract close out including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, and issue resolution.

+ Meet GE business expectations by managing safety, quality, short cycle schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks.

+ Communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally within GE.

+ Collaborate with internal GE functions and business entities to manage product deliveries and commissioning activities.

+ Protect GE’s reputation and technology in the market place.

+ Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all project management metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Minimum Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)

+ Minimum 3 years of project management or customer management experience (GE experience preferred)

+ Fluent in the English language; oral and written, technical and commercial

+ Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams

+ Strong interpersonal and influence skills

+ Position is based in Pittsburgh, PN, or Houston, TX, USA, or Atlanta, GA, and up to 30% travel is required (other US locations will be considered).

DESIRED:

+ Solar and/or BESS power plant design, procurement, and/or construction experience

+ GE Solar and Storage Solutions experience

+ Lean continuous improvement experience

The base pay range for this position is 114,100.00 - 152,200.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity].
