Salary $65,000 - $85,000
Days/Hours Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm
Description
Concern Housing is seeking a skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment efforts across all programs and departments. This role is central to attracting top talent, supporting professional development, and enhancing staff retention throughout the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct initial screenings and first-round interviews with qualified applicants.
+ Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
+ Advertise job openings via online job boards, social media, local publications, employment agencies, colleges, and professional networks.
+ Maintain and distribute the weekly Open Positions report; provide updates to Executive staff.
+ Represent the agency at job fairs and collaborate with the Employment Coordinator, Department of Labor, and other recruitment sources.
+ Evaluate applicants’ qualifications, credentials, and salary expectations during interviews.
+ Recommend candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers; follow up on interview outcomes.
+ Send rejection notices to applicants not selected post-interview.
+ Oversee background checks including professional references, motor vehicle records, degree verification, criminal history, and staff exclusion list reviews.
+ Participate in recruitment-related meetings such as strategic planning and staff forums.
+ Stay informed on agency structure, HR policies, and employment laws at the state and federal levels.
+ Support daily HR operations and administrative tasks as needed.
+ Maintain compliance with all agency-required documentation and training.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience in recruitment, administration, or human resources along with 2–3 years of interviewing experience; social services experience is a plus. Candidate must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills and exhibit proficiency in computer systems and phone communication. Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred.
