Schedule: On-call, Monday–Friday (based on daily needs)

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Position Overview:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking reliable and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide substitute coverage in school settings. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in behavioral health and education while working with children and young adults with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Follow the direction of the supervising BCBA, program supervisor, or teacher

+ Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA-based strategies

+ Provide 1:1 or small group behavioral support

+ Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

+ Support students with daily living skills, including toileting and hygiene

+ Accurately document sessions and collect data

+ Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school and agency policies

+ Collaborate with school staff and behavioral teams

Minimum Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Registered or certified BT (if required by state or district)

+ CPR certification

+ Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred

+ Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Must be dependable and flexible for daily call-offs
