Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality services to students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), offering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.
Responsibilities:
+ Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
+ Participate in IEP development and implementation.
+ Provide tutorial assistance and consult with general education teachers.
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
+ Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
+ Valid state teaching certificate (preferred but not required — provisional certification support available).
+ One year of teaching experience (preferred).
+ Preferred certifications:
+ Standard Elementary Teaching
+ Standard Secondary Teaching
+ Standard Special Teaching
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).
