    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to work in school settings across Los Angeles County. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students thrive academically and socially through speech and language support.

     
     

    + Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

    + Location: School districts throughout Los Angeles County

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday (school hours)

    + Pay: Competitive hourly rate | Weekly pay

    + Contract Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

     
     

    + Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services

    + Carry out treatment plans and activities within the scope of practice

    + Support students in developing communication, articulation, and language skills

    + Document progress and maintain accurate records

    + Collaborate with educators and other school professionals

    ? Minimum Requirements

    + Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

    + Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or clinical experience

    + Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in California

    + One (1) year of professional SLPA experience preferred

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
