CTG is seeking to fill a SAP Application Architect position for our client in Bakersfield, CA.

**Duration:** 10 months

Duties:

+ Design and implement SAP HANA application security architecture, configurations, and policies in support of large-scale SAP implementations.

+ Gather security requirements, design, and configure SAP components including S/4HANA, Suite on HANA, CRM, C4C, HCM, SuccessFactors, and ECC across the full implementation lifecycle.

+ Lead client-facing architectural design sessions and guide teams in the deployment of secure SAP HANA solutions.

+ Conduct security assessments and risk analyses for SAP HANA applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

+ Design and implement SAP HANA security features including authentication, authorization, auditing, and encryption.

+ Implement data masking and anonymization techniques to ensure protection of sensitive data.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security design with business and compliance requirements.

+ Stay current with SAP HANA security trends, tools, and best practices to enhance solution design and performance.

Skills:

+ Expertise in SAP HANA Security design and configuration.

+ Strong knowledge of SAP applications including S/4HANA, ECC, CRM, C4C, HCM, and SuccessFactors.

+ Proficiency in security assessment, risk management, and compliance frameworks (SOX, 21 CFR Part 11).

+ Ability to design and document control environments compliant with SOX requirements, including narratives or process flows.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience mapping roles to system access and functions regulated by control requirements.

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively with business process owners, auditors, and technical teams.

Experience:

+ 8+ years of experience in SAP Security or SAP Architecture, including at least 3 years with SAP HANA.

+ Proven experience leading SAP Security design for large enterprise implementations.

+ Demonstrated experience developing compliance documentation aligned with SOX or equivalent regulatory requirements.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).

+ SAP certification in Security or Architecture strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $47.00 to $52.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
