• Experienced Electrical Engineer

    Amentum (Crane, IN)


    Amentum is seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to join our cutting-edge Radiation Test Engineering team in support of key U.S. Government programs. You’ll play a critical role in testing advanced systems and components for the Department of Defense; from planning and implementation to validation and mentoring junior engineers.

    As a Radiation Test Electrical Engineer, your daily work will include:

    + Designing and executing component tests to validate performance and compliance.

    + Partnering with environmental and modeling teams to support thorough characterization and evaluation.

    + Collaborating with Configuration Management and Quality teams to update test fixtures, procedures and software.

    + Preparing and reviewing technical reports for delivery to stakeholders.

    + Maintaining existing test fixtures, procedures and software.

    + Supporting test migrations to new platforms and technologies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + 5 years electrical engineering experience

    + Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. Proven communications and analytical skills through work experience.

    + Experience with electronic component testing and characterization.

    + Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and impedance analyzers.

    + Knowledge and experience with MIL-STD requirements.

    + Experience with troubleshooting and debug of electronic test circuits.

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Must be a United States citizen.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with radiation testing

    + Experience with DoD lab environment work
