This is a Monday–Friday role with no on-call, holiday, or weekend requirements.

SUMMARY
The Ultrasound Technologist shall perform general, abdominal/OB-Gyn, and vascular.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to be successful.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
+ Perform high quality general ultrasound including abdomen and OB/GYN and vascular studies in accordance with all policies and procedures.
+ Competently set up and assist radiologist and pathologist during procedures.
+ Working with the EMR’s to generate and complete exam orders.
+ Perform, record, and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.
+ Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks, cleaning work area, and monitoring temperatures in accordance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
+ Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound
+ RVT registrations, preferred or obtain after hire
+ RDMS(AB,OB-GYN) , preferred or obtain after hire
+ BLS required, or obtain within 6 months of hire

+ Ability to use active listening skills to interpret the needs of the patient.

+ Flexibility in schedule. Willing to adjust hours, as needed. Willing to cover other shifts
