Job Description
This person will provide support to Sonic Automotive, EchoPark, and Sonic Powersports dealerships throughout the United States for banking, payments, and vendor services related to Treasury.
The individual will be the forward-facing support for requests coming from both our frontline dealership teammates and from our corporate partners. Timely, accurate, and professional responses with appropriate follow-up are a MUST as processes, policies, and procedures are communicated and clarified.
This person will also be responsible for continuous improvement and proactive development of processes and procedures related to existing and future Treasury functions.
Specifically, this role will,
Continually work with our company wide Customer Service representatives supporting our Shared Service department as a resource for Treasury related inquiries.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor and approve user requests for system access across multiple tools and platforms
Evaluate the need for and set up/delete users within internal and external systems
ACH Positive Pay Exceptions and Authorization Requests
Maintenance and development of key policy documents
Check Positive Pay Research
Transaction Research Requests
Floorplan debt research and analysis
Cashier Check Requests
Cash Change order set up requests
Bank Fee Analysis Statement Review
Smart Safe Adds / Changes / Refresh Requests
Merchant Card / Card Platform Requests and Reports
As needed, execute on tasks required to support the set up and integration of new dealerships as well as the offboarding of dispositioned dealerships.
Provide support to ad-hoc Treasury and partner-initiated projects as needed (e.g., RFP initiatives, executive report-outs).
Workload: daily basis - 20 tickets a day
Most is busy seasons - 50-75 for surge tickets
Ownership of customer service experience for treasury team

Skills and Requirements
4-year degree.
Previous cash management
High-level proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Outlook (all MS Office Suite applications) is required.
Excellent written communication skills, verbal communication skills, and customer service skills are a must.
The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for analysis and problem solving and will demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Prefer automotive experience
Finance experience a plus
Previous retail, banking, or customer-facing experience is a plus
Prior project management and/or consulting experience is a plus
If they worked at a restaurant - personable, good, hardworking
