Job Description

Harborview Medical Center's Centralized Transport Unit is seeking multiple **CNA / Transporters.**

WORK SCHEDULE

+ 90% FTE (36 hours per week)

+ Night shift

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

+ Transporting patients and supplies to all areas of the hospital

+ Completes transports in an efficient manner, understanding the importance and impact of patient flow throughout the hospital

T **he successful candidate will also be responsible for the following functions:**

+ In collaboration with the Registered Nurse, understands patient care needs and utilizes them during transport if necessary (i.e., oxygen)

+ Utilize technology to respond to transport requests and escalate transport concerns

+ Remains knowledgeable about safe transportation practices

+ Utilizes effective and clear communication skills

Qualified candidates:

+ **Required:** High school diploma or GED

+ **Required:** Active Nursing Assistant-Certified (CNA) with the State of Washington

+ A minimum of 1-year of CNA experience

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$58,788.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$84,168.00 annual

Other Compensation:

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine

Evening: $1.50/hour

Night: $2.25/hour

Weekend: $1.50/hour
